Kev Adams Dallas Concert reviews
Doobie Bros
Opening for them was Lara Johnston, who arrived punctually but seemed unfamiliar with her own songs and struggled to articulate the lyrics, possibly due to excessive amplification. Despite this, I found that by covering my ears, I could better comprehend her performance. This critique is not a reflection of her vocal abilities, but rather the volume. The Doobies, on the other hand, had a similar sound to Lara Johnston, but I was more familiar with their repertoire. I did find myself slightly unengaged when they delved into newer material that I was not acquainted with, but they quickly returned to their classic hits, re-energizing the audience. Their encore performance included a few more songs, wrapping up a solid overall show.
